In a landmark event on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the highly anticipated Namo Bharat Rapid Transit Train Corridor, redefining the future of urban mobility in Delhi-NCR. Valued at a staggering ₹12,000 crore, this project is set to revolutionize transportation and bolster infrastructure development in the region.

A Game-Changer for Urban Connectivity

1. Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut High-    Speed Corridor The 13-km Sahibabad-New Ashok Nagar stretch is now operational, offering Delhi-NCR its first rapid transit train. Project investment: ₹4,600 crore. – Impact: Commuters can expect a seamless travel experience with reduced congestion and travel time.

Janakpuri-Krishna Park Line:Distance: A critical stretch connecting West Delhi. Project cost: ₹1,200 crore. Benefit: Enhanced connectivity for residents, reducing travel time significantly. – Rithala-Kundli Line:Length: 26.5 km between North-West Delhi and Haryana. Investment: ₹6,230 crore. Future Impact: Strengthens connectivity between industrial hubs and residential areas, fostering economic growth.

3. Advanced Ayurveda Research Institute in Delhi – PM Modi also laid the foundation for the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) in Rohini.Investment: ₹185 crore.
