US keep striking on Iran except power plants

US–Israel–Iran Conflict (Overview) 2026

According to a report published by Semafor, the United States has continued its military strikes on Iran, sparking global attention and concern. The report claims that while several strategic targets have been hit, Iranian power plants have notably been excluded from the attacks.

The strikes are reportedly ongoing, with the US targeting key military infrastructure, including naval assets, ballistic missile systems, and defense industry facilities. Despite expectations of de-escalation, the operations have not been halted.

The report further suggests that the US has been engaged in indirect communication with an unidentified Iranian official. However, neither the identity nor the position of this official has been disclosed, and the US government has not officially confirmed these contacts.

Israel is said to be aware of the situation, though discussions are reportedly centered around three key figures: Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner. Notably, JD Vance is not involved in these negotiations.

Meanwhile, Iranian officials have denied the existence of any formal communication channel or ongoing negotiations with the United States.
